Hooray! After KB Espresso Roasters within the ninth (2010), Nicolas Piégay, pioneer of specialty espresso in Paris, is doing it once more with this huge spot of 200 sq. meters, a boutique/workshop/espresso store providing ultra-tasty dishes from 9 a.m. to five p.m. Bay window overlooking the road, scraped pillars, inexperienced crops, uncooked concrete partitions… Amy Winehouse and her Again to Black on the head, we tumble into a big industrial room with, on the proper, an extended hall below a glass roof that includes an 8-meter counter (!) and stools, the place to savor your kawa en face to face with an imposing La Marzocco Strada : espresso (€2.50), filter coffees expressed on V60 and Aeropress of competitors (€6 every)… But in addition ice cream specialties, together with an all too uncommon cascara – infusion of espresso cherry – at €5… The all with a view of the roasting workshop and the open kitchen on the again.
