Daniel Arsham unveils sublime works in a new carte blanche |  Exhibition

After creating the scenography for the Dior present throughout Males’s Spring-Summer season 2020 Vogue Week, American artist Daniel Arsham will current his newest collection of emblematic works from Antiquity on the MNAAG from October 21, 2020 to January 25, 2021. Known as “Moonraker”, his carte blanche will current a brand new collection of sculptures specifically designed for the museum’s collections.

Timeless works

Produced in shut collaboration with the molding workshop of the Réunion des Musées Nationaux – Grand Palais, these works will mark the course of the museum’s everlasting assortment. The exhibition highlights the creative range of Jap and Western sculptures and highlights their potential to transcend eras and cultures. Daniel Arsham thus lets the traces of time seem on his creations and has imagined their evolution and their state in a thousand or ten thousand years. Crystals come to sublimate these works near destruction and collapse, making them timeless.

An immersive expertise
